One of my favorite Italian classics is Mussels Marinara. Fortunately it is one of my daughter’s favorites as well, she is very picky
I tried out some new techniques on this video including using 2 cameras (Thanks Desi ) For any of you who are too young to get that reference , Desi Arnaz is credited with the innovation of the 2 camera shoot on the sitcom “I love Lucy” .

Anyway back to the video. As you can tell, if you have viewed any of the videos on this site, I like quick easy recipes, and I don’t mind using shortcuts like canned vegetables. After a hard day’s work , who wants to slave over a stove for hours?

Cooking should be fun, so I recommend not working too hard and not taking yourself too seriously when cooking at home for friends and family. This is probably the reason I don’t do this for a living. I would hate to have cooking be like work.

So get yourself a nice red wine and a crusty loaf of Italian bread and enjoy my version of Mussels Marinara.
